Café Rio and Freshii open First Colorado locations

March 12, 2010- DHLB is proud to announce the recent openings of both Café Rio and Freshii’s first Metro Denver locations.

Café Rio recently opened its flagship location in Glendale, Colorado at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Cherry Creek Parkway South (610 S Colorado Blvd Glendale, CO 80246-1503). They are located in a new redevelopment project which includes Hilton Garden Inn, Panera Bread, Garbanzo’s and Verizon. www.eatfreshii.com 

Salt Lake City based Café Rio Mexican Grill is a fast casual Mexican food operator featuring recipes inspired from the traditional cooking of the Rio Grande region of Northern Mexico, Southern Texas and New Mexico. The company currently operates 22 locations in Utah, Arizona and Nevada. Café Rio has received numerous regional and national awards which can be found on their website - www.caferio.com

Freshii recently opened its first Colorado location at Village Center Station, a transit oriented development in Denver’s southeast suburban market. Phase I is a 9 story 232,000 square foot Class A mixed-use tower. Office space totals 205,000 square feet with plaza level retail totaling 27,000 square feet. Freshii’s manifesto reads "Through our vision of Fresh Food, Custom Built, Fast, Freshii is focused on becoming the most convenient choice for healthy and fresh meals and snacks served quickly in a cool, clean, and environmentally sustainable setting for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between." Freshii looks to open 20 stores in Colorado over the next 10 years. Freshii has 13 stores open in Toronto, one in Chicago and numerous others in varying stages of development.
