Streets at Southglenn Kicks off the Holiday Season

November 21, 2009- The Holiday Season festivities began at The Streets at SouthGlenn on Friday, November 20, 2009 with entertainment, music, the opening of The Cube ice skating rink and the lighting of the living Christmas Tree with Santa and the Mayor of Centennial! Tenants that opened are Hollywood Theatres, Tokyo Joes, The Blues Jean Bar, Rejuvanest, Old Glory Antiques, Home, Fire Bowl, The Nutty Bavarian, Noodles & Co and Great Clips. Over the next several months, other retailers that will be opening are 24 Hour Fitness, Hodson T’s, Cantina Laredo, Corner Bakery, Simple Addictions, A Classic Design and Tip to Toe Nails.
The Streets at SouthGlenn is a mixed-use redevelopment of the former Southglenn Mall. Located adjacent to the affluent suburbs of Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village and Highlands Ranch to the south, the Streets at Southglenn is Denver’s premier destination for shopping, entertainment and dining. The project includes approximately 900,000 square feet of retail, 202 high end residential units and 140,000 square feet of office space. The power center component opened in September 2008 and consists of Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Staples and Macy’s Furniture Gallery.
