What’s New at Southglenn

August 2010- The Streets of Southglenn has been opened since August 2009 and is quickly becoming Denver’s premier destination for shopping and dining. In addition to the anchor tenants, including Macy’s, Sears, Whole Foods and Best Buy, Southglenn has an eclectic mix of local retailers. Some notable local retailers include The Blues Jean Bar, Kismet, Irresistibles, Salon AKA, Larry Johnson Gallery, Bouquets, 720 Boardshop, Sous le Lit, Andrew’s Jewelers, Sole Food, Rejuvanest, Old Glory Antiques and A Classic Design, to name a few. Restaurants include Bar Louie, Home, The Oven, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Saj Mediterraean Grill, Tokyo Joes, Diego Zhangs, Firebowl, Qdoba and Noodles. Retailers that have opened recently are 24 Hour Fitness, Hodson T’s, Pho 95, Cantina Laredo, Simple Addictions, Shine Boutique and Allie Katz Nail Salon. Finally, retailers that will be opening by the end of the year include Snooze, Parmida, Cheers, Thomas Kinkaid, Bricks 4 Kidz and University of Phoenix. Please look out for new tenant announcements as the Owner is in lease negotiations with several more tenants.
The Streets at SouthGlenn is a mixed-use redevelopment of the former Southglenn Mall. Located adjacent to the affluent suburbs of Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village and Highlands Ranch to the south, the Streets at Southglenn is Denver’s premier destination for shopping, entertainment and dining. The project includes approximately 900,000 square feet of retail, 202 high end residential units and 140,000 square feet of office space. The power center component opened in September 2008 and consists of Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Staples and Macy’s Furniture Gallery. Some anchors include Macy’s, Sears, a flagship Whole Foods and Hollywood Theatres.
