The managing members, Philip Hicks, Joe David, Allen Lampert and Scott Hagan have a combined 83 years of experience in retail real estate and have completed more than 8,000 retail transactions valued at more than $4 billion.

Philip I. Hicks

Philip is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He worked for SullivanHayes Brokerage for ten years as a Broker Associate before he and Joe David formed David/Hicks Brokerage. The focus of David/Hicks Brokerage was to provide services to retailers and property owners in all facets of retail real estate. Since the inception, Philip has grown the company to include 16 broker associates whose primary focus is on the representation of landlords and tenants. Most recently, the natural progression of the business turned into a merger with Allen Lampert of Lampert Properties – to form David, Hicks & Lampert Brokerage. David Hicks Brokerage and Lampert Properties have had a 10-year history of teaming up on several successful developments.

Joe E. David

Joe is a partner with David, Hicks & Lampert Brokerage and has been in the retail real estate industry for more than 20 years. Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California. His career started with CB Commercial Real Estate (CBRE) Group in 1985. Joe served as a retail broker in the South Bay Office (Los Angeles area) for ten years. At CBRE, Joe was named top retail broker nationwide in 1991 and consummated more than 300 lease transactions exceeding $180 million in total consideration. Following his tenure at CBRE, Joe joined Jamba Juice Company in 1995 as Director of Real Estate, during which the company was in its infancy with only 15 stores. During his three years with the company, he helped them grow to more than 130 stores in multiple states. In 1999, Joe joined long-time associate and friend, Phil Hicks, forming David Hicks Brokerage.

Joe specializes in lifestyle, entertainment and power center project leasing. He also has extensive experience in tenant representation with an emphasis on market analysis, strategic planning and implementation.

Allen Lampert

Allen began his career as a top-level retail broker with CB Richard Ellis, working in four locations: Bethesda, Maryland; Tyson's Corner, Virginia; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Denver, Colorado. While at CB Richard Ellis' Denver office, Allen held the position of Vice President & Director of Retail Services and was instrumental in heading up and revitalizing the retail services department of CB Richard Ellis.

Allen then served as Director of Real Estate for Alberta Development Partners, LLC in Englewood, Colorado, where he gained valuable experience in the development of commercial properties, including site selection, budgeting, pro formas, construction, site planning, entitlement and engineering aspects of retail development transactions.

Building on years of experience in multiple markets, Allen formed Lampert Properties, Inc. in 2002 to provide retail real estate brokerage, development and consulting services to retail developers, landlords and tenants throughout the Colorado and Rocky Mountain regions. Allen merged his company with David Hicks Brokerage in March 2007 after years of working together.

Scott A. Hagan

Scott Hagan is a partner with David, Hicks & Lampert Brokerage and has been in the retail real estate industry for more than 20 years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Arizona State University. His career began in a family-owned, retail sporting goods business where he learned all fundamental aspects of retailing. His retail real estate career has been based in Denver, specializing in landlord and tenant representation. During his career, Scott has identified and consummated more than 150 big box retail locations throughout the United States. In 2005, Scott joined long-time associate and friend Philip Hicks.

Scott specializes in tenant representation and landlord neighborhood/community center project leasing. Scott also has extensive experience in pad users sales/leases.
